Students at Shanklin who earned "Super Tickets" from administrators received their playground time reward today! Students who go above and beyond in exemplifying "Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Responsible" can earn "Super Tickets" and the accompanying reward. Last time, it was popsicles. On March 6th, the LHS Eagle Band earned its 18th Sweepstakes in a row at the UIL Concert and Sight Reading evaluation at Canyon Lake High School! Your Eagles played a challenging program and soared to superior ratings on stage and in sight reading.
On March 7th, the Gerdes JH Band also brought home new hardware by earning superior ratings from all 6 judges in concert and sight reading! These students have shown tremendous growth over the course of the school year and are a shining example of what can be achieved through dedication and focus.
The band directors, Nathan Rolfe and Adam Garcia, are proud of the continued effort the students give on a daily basis and are excited to see what the future holds for the Luling Eagle Band. They would also like to thank the Luling administration and Band Boosters for the wonderful support they continue to show. The band could not be this great without their unwavering support.
