2019 Bond Election Information

Board of Trustees call for 2019 Bond Election

The Luling Independent School District Board of Trustees called for a $31.9 million bond referendum, scheduled for May 4, 2019.

Included in the 2019 Bond Proposal: new campus construction to replace Luling Primary and Shanklin Elementary; renovations at Gerdes Junior High and renovations at the building added in 2003 at Shanklin Elementary.

The action was taken during the February 7, 2019 special called meeting.

COMMUNITY ADVISORY COMMITTEE

A Community Advisory Committee (CAC) comprised of students, staff, parents, retirees, and diverse community members participated in a series of meetings to review the facility report that evaluated the physical condition, safety/security, capacity, and educational adequacy of district facilities. The final report presented to the Board is below.
